Nature house in Putten

Our nature house is an apartment in a centuries-old farmhouse. Located on a quiet little road, you can easily pull into our spacious parking lot. Once inside, you’ll find yourself in a colorful space where we’ve blended modern and classic styles—because there’s no future without the past. Two long dining tables surrounded by chairs and benches immediately welcome you and are available for breakfast, including for our guests staying upstairs and ourselves. You can store your groceries in the refrigerator. The restroom is located separately in the hallway. Next to it is your private bathroom, equipped with a sink, shower, and bathtub. The door next to it leads to your bedroom, which features a spacious double bed—we can add a crib if needed. There are two nightstands with lamps, and your TV is mounted on the wall. Next to it is a children’s room that can be booked as an add-on, featuring a three-tier bunk bed that can sleep 5 CHILDREN, up to a maximum height of 1.65 meters. This makes it ideal for a young family who want to stay close together. And you’re welcome to bring your dog, too!

Stay overnight in the front yard of the Veluwe, right on the border between Putten and Nijkerk—so you’re close to public transportation, and Nijkerk Station is just a 5-minute ride away on a public transit bike. JUMBO Rob Veltink is right in between, so you can easily pick up groceries on your way to us. Our farm is still in a very rural setting. There are beautiful walking (clog path) and biking routes. And you can also enjoy plenty of horseback riding here. Within walking distance is Restaurant de Salentein, offering a choice between Bistro and Chique; parking is also no problem. A little further away are the centers of Nijkerk and Putten. Both are geared toward tourism, so there’s no shortage of shops and nightlife options. Garderen is a bit further away, where the Klimbos is a favorite among people of all ages from the entire region. We’re easily accessible via the A28 and A1 via back roads—how great is that! Putten has a movie theater, Nijkerk has a museum, weekly markets, and more.
