It is equipped with kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, with a total of three beds. It is located on a farm, summer you can see the cattle grazing next to your chalet.

Our chalet is located in the small village of Tjerkgaast in the southwest corner of Friesland. From the chalet there is a very good chance that you will spot some deer.The picturesque town of Sloten is 2 km away, here you will find several cafes and restaurants.Several Frisian Lakes are within cycling distance, as well as the water sports villages of Langweer, Lemmer, Woudsend, Balk and Heeg.You will also find the forests of Gaasterland and Sint Nicolaasga within 7 km.

A lovely place in a relaxed rural atmosphere, in the middle of the Frisian meadows.

What a wonderful stay we, three girlfriends, had in chalet de Vrijheid. We enjoyed the beautiful wide view. A place in the middle of the Frisian meadows, with impressive and varied clouds (with rain and sun) We saw hares, deer running around and have many different (predatory) birds seen and heard. All together, a beautiful spectacle and a wonderful place to relax and unwind in a rural atmosphere. The chalet is fully equipped. And the warm welcome and hospitality of the de Jong family was outstanding and perfectly provided. We would love to come back and enjoy this beautiful rural place.

We hebben genoten van het prachtig wijds uitzicht. Een plekje midden in de Friese weilanden, met indrukwekkende en afwisselende wolken (met regen en zon)
We zagen haasjes, reeen rondlopen en hebben veel verschillende (roof) vogels gezien en gehoord.
Alles met elkaar, een prachtig schouwspel en een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen en relaxen in een landelijke sfeer.
Het chalet is van alle gemakken voorzien. En het warme welkom en gastvrijheid van de familie de Jong was voortreffelijk en perfect verzorgd.
