Welcome to our home in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, at 750 m. We offer 6 bedrooms (3 double beds, 4 single beds, 2 twin beds, 3 bathrooms, one with bathtub) and a separate bedroom in a small annex. One bedroom is independent in a small annexed chalet. Sheets are provided. Possibility of an extra mattress for children. The wooden terrace is panoramic. The kitchen is fully equipped: American fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Solar-heated water. Small wood-burning stove in the living room for the pleasure of the flambée. Fenced grounds with lawn in front of the house. Animals accepted. Direct access to trails. Swimming in fresh water 300m from the house. 9 km from shops (grocery, bakery, pharmacy), 23 km from supermarket. No wifi, but 4 G mobile connection. Fans. Mosquito screens on windows. Plancha. Absolute peace and quiet, so we only ask families and travelers who respect peace and quiet and the environment.
Nature and surroundings
Our house is surrounded by meadows and forest, a place where nature is everywhere: through the bay windows, on the terrace that runs all the way around the house, and on the nearby hiking trails on foot. Wildlife is also present. In spring, swifts nest under the roof, and you may be lucky enough to spot roe deer, wild boar or badgers. This is the perfect place for families in search of calm, greenery and authenticity. The house is 300 m from two rivers. You can combine swimming with discovering the enchanting landscapes typical of the Ardèche (3 lakes in the area, Coucouron, Issarles, St Martial), the source of the Loire and, further afield, Vallon Pont d'Arc, with its canoe trips down the Ardèche. This house once welcomed children, families, animals and laughter. We hope it will offer you a place of rest, simplicity and reconnection.
