Bonjour!!! Welcome to the south of the beautiful "Parc naturel régional du Morvan". Here you can enjoy peace, quiet and nature in the middle of the forest and without neighbors, away from all the hustle and bustle of modern society. There are numerous opportunities for hiking and cycling through beautiful picturesque countryside, villages and forests. I The rooms and bathroom are on the second floor at the loft, where there is also a small sitting room with coffee and tea facilities. Of course there is fiber optic wifi available everywhere. In spring and autumn it is lovely to relax on the terrace with beautiful views over the valley, is it very hot then there are also seats on the north terrace under the 100 year old chestnut tree with an old water source, in the orchard or by the babbling brook Dragne where you can also take a refreshing splash. Everything exudes peace and quiet. Perfect for reading a nice book when you have a rest day.
Nature and surroundings
In the morning you will wake up to the birds singing to each other, the murmur of stream, see the buzzard soaring on the first warm air of spring, or see some deer feasting on fresh green leaves from the orchard. In the evening you can hear the owl and see the stars and milky way because there is no light pollution.In the vicinity there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the good Burgundian French life, visiting a nice French weekly market, one of the many flea markets, a bike ride along the Canal Du Niverais, but also, for example, the provincial town of Nevers where Bernadette (Lourdes) is laid to rest. Cooling can be sought in the Lac du Settons. We are happy to help you put together a nice day program!
