This nature house is very quietly located in beautiful Burgundy, Saone et Loire department. Even in high season it is very quiet. You wake up by lovely birdsong.The house has a south terrace in front (with awning), and a rear terrace. There are two bedrooms, each with bathroom and toilet.The There is a kitchen with refrigerator and small freezer, gas fire, electric oven and microwave.On the rear terrace there is an equipped outdoor kitchen, and a barbecue. The living room is 50 m2 The house is located in grounds of about 1.5 acres, and has a flower garden, herb garden, frog pool, swing and petanque court.There is a washing machine and dryer available. The house has 16 solar panels, and can be heated ( or cooled) words by a heat pump. The property is a wonderful, adventurous playground for children. There is a crib and high chair available, and a bed can be added in one of the bedrooms. WIFI is available.
Nature and surroundings
The area is rural, with fields, meadows and forests, and great for walking and cycling on quiet roads. There are also "routes vertes" nearby. Swimming is possible in the eco-pool of La Chapelle Saint Sauveur (4 km away), and in the river, the Doubs, about 13 km away by car. (You can see the swimming places in the photos) There are numerous markets and bric-a-brac markets in the summer, and a theater and music festival in Chalons sur Saone.Beautiful cities all an hour (or less) away are Dole( 40 min), Chalons su Saone (40min),Dijon (1 hr), Beaune (50 min)...and we overlook the Jura which is nearby with beautiful nature and towns, e.g. Arbois.The location of our house is quiet, but you will find in nearby Pierre de Bresse (at 3 km) a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, bakery.... It is a region with natural ponds, where feather bird species occur, both on the water and in forest or meadow. Bird lovers are in for a treat!
