Nature house in Beekbergen

We had a wonderful three days at this cottage.

Wij hebben 3 prima dagen in dit huisje gehad.

We, as people seeking peace and quiet, slept soundly for three nights without any noise (except, thankfully, birdsong in the morning) and in the dark. A wonderful experience. This cottage is fully equipped, well-furnished, and heats up quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, this was necessary for us due to the cold, wet weather. The badger den at the back of the property is impressive, very large, and beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any badgers. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the friendly owner. Our interaction with them was spontaneous and pleasant. In short, this cottage comes highly recommended.

Wij, rustzoekers,hebben 3 nachten zonder geluiden( behalve gelukkig ‘s ochtends vogelzang) en in het donker geslapen. Een fijne ervaring. Dit huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, goed geoutilleerd en heel snel en goed te verwarmen. Was voor ons helaas noodzakelijk ivm koud, nat weer. De Dassenburcht achter op het terrein is indrukwekkend, heel groot, mooi. Helaas geen das gezien. Bij aankomst werden wij verwelkomd door de vriendelijke eigenaar. Het contact met hen was spontaan, prettig. Kortom dit huisje is een aanrader.

A very spacious and complete nature house with private terrace and a real forest feel. Everything was present in the kitchen, although a wooden spoon for stirring could be a useful addition. Very nice also that bed linen and towels were provided, included in the price even, and a true luxury that the bed was made. There is no extra charge for dogs, and I think that is very nice.

Een zeer ruim en compleet natuurhuisje met privéterras en een echt bosgevoel. Alles was aanwezig in de keuken, hoewel een houten lepel om te roeren een nuttige aanvulling zou kunnen zijn. Heel fijn ook dat het beddengoed en handdoeken aanwezig waren, bij de prijs inbegrepen zelfs, en een ware luxe dat het bed was opgemaakt. Voor honden wordt niets extra gerekend, en dat vind ik heel tof.

Fine a few days with the dogs stayed in the Badger Castle. Friendly, thoughtful host, and the dogs were allowed to walk everywhere in the large garden The forest is within walking distance, further I did not go but it was enough to get away from it all.

Fijn een paar dagen met de honden verbleven in de Dassenburcht. Vriendelijke, meedenkende gastheer, en de honden mochten overal in de grote tuin lopen Het bos is op loopafstand, verder ben ik niet geweest maar het was genoeg om er even helemaal uit te zijn.

The cottage is a little old-fashioned, but fully equipped! The shower has good water pressure, bathtub we did not use. There is a combi microwave. (With oven function so) a fairly large refrigerator with a freezer underneath with 2 drawers. Bedrooms are fairly large with enough storage space. And the toilet is separate. Always nice! A lovely terrace. Actually on all sides of the cottage but we used only 1. All kitchen utensils were present.

Het huisje is een beetje ouderwets, maar van alle gemakken voorzien! De douche heeft een goede waterdruk, bad hebben we niet gebruikt. Er is een combi magnetron. (Met ovenfunctie dus) een redelijk grote koelkast met een vriezer eronder met 2 lades. Slaapkamers zijn redelijk groot met genoeg opbergruimte. En het toilet is apart. Altijd fijn! Een heerlijk terras. Eigenlijk aan alle kanten van het huisje wel maar wij gebruikten er maar 1. Alle keuken benodigdheden waren aanwezig.

We love hiking and wildlife spotting. Hiking areas sat everywhere. Super beautiful surroundings! But if you don't want to hike, this is also a really great location. You have such a big garden there! Actually a small private forest. Great! We will definitely come back!

Wij houden van wandelen en wild spotten. Wandelgebieden zat overal. Super mooie omgeving! Maar als je niet wil wandelen is dit ook echt een geweldige locatie. Je hebt er zo'n grote tuin! Eigenlijk een klein privé bos. Geweldig! Wij komen zeker een keertje terug!
