Our vacation home is located directly on the edge of the forest of the Wüstegarten, Kellerwald. Our two vacation apartments invite you to feel good and relax in harmony with the tranquility of nature. Our lower apartment, for 2 persons, at ground level, almost barrier-free, has the following equipment: -bedroom double bed 180x200m -living/dining room with fireplace and smart TV -cozy kitchenette with dishwasher and other appliances -reading corner with alternating light -spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower -washing machine -large conservatory in the entrance area -seating area in front of the conservatory with charcoal grill Optionally you can book our outdoor sauna with a wonderful view of the landscape, for an extra charge. (Usage costs 30,00€ plus electricity consumption 0,35€/per Kw hour)
Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located directly on the 156 km long hiking trail "Kellerwaldsteig". 3 km from the house is the Kellerwaldturm. From here, in good weather, you can see as far as the Harz Mountains at 675 m above sea level. In general, Haus Kellerwald is the ideal starting point for hikes in the region. You can go on beautiful day trips through the Kellerwald, the Gilsatal, to Jesberg in the Prinzessinengarten or through the Hemberg. The high Lohr with its radio tower is also easy to reach for experienced hikers. Our moor path is a nice stopover on the way to the Kellerwald tower. Densberg belongs to the large municipality of Jesberg, which is located exactly between Kassel and Marburg (each approx. 50 km away). In Jesberg there are doctors, grocery store, bakery, butcher, ice cream parlor and restaurants. Also in Jesberg, about 4Km, is the leisure center: outdoor pool, Ninja Warrior Parcour, skating rink, soccer, basketball, tennis court and beach volleyball court.
