Our vacation apartment is primarily located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of Hünningen and within walking distance of the surrounding forests and high plains. The German-speaking region and its location at over 600m altitude add to the vacation feeling. From the living area you have direct connection to the enclosed south-facing garden which is over 120m deep and offers a breathtaking view of the Warche valley. The house has underfloor heating and to make it cozy you can also light the wood fire. The house has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for groups of up to 8 people. Two bedrooms also have a baby bed. Our vacation house has all the comfort you need for a successful vacation. The German-speaking community awarded the apartment a rating of "3 Ähren". Charging station for electric cars available.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the cross-border High Fens-Eifel Nature Park, this area guarantees every season the best that Belgium (and Germany) have to offer when it comes to nature. From the boardwalks on the High Fens to long walks in the woods or enjoy one of the many lakes: this region cannot be captured in a few sentences. We are also in the highest area of Belgium, resulting in magnificent views. Personal favorites are the forests behind the vacation house, the wild daffodils in spring, the castle of Reinhardstein and the possibility to enjoy nature in peace and quiet while hiking. Since the vacation home is located near the German border, this also offers the opportunity to explore the German Eifel. Here we find numerous picturesque villages, old castle ruins and extinct volcanoes. Both nature and culture lovers are sure to find something to their liking here.

Everything is very well taken care of.

We had a wonderful time in the cottage. Everything was thought of to provide us with every comfort. All the equipment is there also to keep everything neat, cook, relax and enjoy. Attention was also paid to the babies/toddlers (toys, nursing pillow, table and chairs for toddlers/toddlers, 2 baby beds,...). Outside there is a long table with chairs to eat outside.The location of the cottage is ideal. There is beautiful nature where you can take lovely walks. It is also an excellent base to nearby attractions or villages. In advance you get enough info around different things about the cottage. Really an ideal cottage to have a carefree time!
We hadden een heerlijke tijd in het huisje. Er werd aan alles gedacht om ons van alle comfort te voorzien. Alle materiaal is aanwezig ook om alles netjes te kunnen onderhouden, te koken, te ontspannen en te genieten. Ook is er aandacht besteed aan de babys/peuters (speelgoed, verzorgingskussen, tafeltje en stoelen voor peuters/kleuters, 2 babybedjes,...). Buiten is er een lange tafel met stoelen om buiten te kunnen eten.
De ligging van het huisje is ideaal. Er is mooie natuur waar je heerlijke wandelingen kan maken. Het is ook een prima uitvalsbasis naar nabijgelegen bezienswaardigheden of dorpen. Very nice nice clean house. Fully equipped with all amenities. The garden is especially beautiful and the fire bowl was a favorite of the children.
