Our vacation apartment is primarily located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of Hünningen and within walking distance of the surrounding forests and high plains. The German-speaking region and its location at over 600m altitude add to the vacation feeling. From the living area you have direct connection to the enclosed south-facing garden which is over 120m deep and offers a breathtaking view of the Warche valley. The house has underfloor heating and to make it cozy you can also light the wood fire. The house has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for groups of up to 8 people. Two bedrooms also have a baby bed. Our vacation house has all the comfort you need for a successful vacation. The German-speaking community awarded the apartment a rating of "3 Ähren". Charging station for electric cars available.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the cross-border High Fens-Eifel Nature Park, this area guarantees every season the best that Belgium (and Germany) have to offer when it comes to nature. From the boardwalks on the High Fens to long walks in the woods or enjoy one of the many lakes: this region cannot be captured in a few sentences. We are also in the highest area of Belgium, resulting in magnificent views. Personal favorites are the forests behind the vacation house, the wild daffodils in spring, the castle of Reinhardstein and the possibility to enjoy nature in peace and quiet while hiking. Since the vacation home is located near the German border, this also offers the opportunity to explore the German Eifel. Here we find numerous picturesque villages, old castle ruins and extinct volcanoes. Both nature and culture lovers are sure to find something to their liking here.
