The cottage has about 200 square meters and is on 2 floors. The house has been rebuilt with a lot of love in 2025. Materials consist of old wood sandblasted and stones from the mountains. The furniture is in a style that suits the house. Fireplace is with electricity and gives additional heat. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishes for 6 people, fondue and raclette are available. From the windows you can see the Grindelwald mountains. Bedrooms are on the upper floor. There are 2 large double beds and a double floor bed, plus an outdoor whirlpool which can be used all year round. Bathrobes and slippers as well as pool towels are available for use. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer are provided.
Nature and surroundings
The house is in the middle of nature and there are no neighbors nearby. The local wild animals (chamois, deer, roe deer, badger, fox, marten, squirrel etc.) can be observed right next to the house. Wild birds, among others, are the mouse-bird that circles above the house, the kite and various other birds can be observed. There is also a feeder for our native birds right next to the house. On a clear day you can enjoy the stars in the pool. If you enjoy wild plants you are welcome to collect your tea outside. The house has a barbecue outside and plenty of space to linger. It is located directly on the hiking trail and the ski slope. The different seasons also bring different plays of light in nature.
