Very nice vacation home of about 100 m2 with a beautiful landscaped garden of 1500 m2 and an orchard and meadow. In total 5000 m2. A very nice house if you like nature, space, cycling, walking and reading. This house is a beautiful so-called "En Pierre" house with a well-facilitated kitchen, living room, loft with TV corner and 3 bedrooms. There are games, books and magazines available. The house is quietly situated on the outskirts of a small hamlet, with very nice views of meadows and woodlands. The garden surrounds the house. There is a beautiful covered veranda, and in the garden there are nice seats both in the sun and in the shade. The silence is always overwhelming. There is no traffic except the occasional car that must be in the hamlet, and the letter carrier. At night you hear the owls, during the day the birds and crickets. And occasionally a deer walks in the garden. You have plenty of privacy here. You can park your car at the house.
Nature and surroundings
A beautiful view. The area is hilly, where with a little extra effort you can cycle well. From the house are numerous hiking trails that run through forests, sunflower, corn and grain fields. In the valley runs a small river. The landscape still has an unspoiled purity, it is very varied There are several swimming possibilities, in the lake and in the river Charente, the Réjallant, with beautiful beaches, play equipment for the little ones and for the older children a wonderful waterfall. There is a restaurant, a bowling alley, kayaking and sup rentals.A visit to the many villages and beautiful towns with their markets, festivals, castles and abbeys is definitely worthwhile, as well as a visit to the bird sanctuary "Maraies Poitevin" Autorotative ULV (small helicopter) flight over the Charente Spider web in the trees Port city of La Rochelle Poitiers with its futuroscope Angoulême with its comic strip museums Horseback riding in Chenommet And the various fishing waters.
