A particularly beautiful vacation home of about 100 m² with a beautifully landscaped garden of 1,500 m² and an orchard and meadow. A total of 5,000 m². A wonderful place to stay if you love nature, open spaces, biking, hiking, and reading. You’ll find complete peace and quiet here. This vacation home is a charming “En Pierre” style house with a well-equipped kitchen, living room, loft with a TV corner, and 3 bedrooms. Games, books, and magazines are provided. The house is quietly situated on the edge of a small hamlet, with beautiful views of meadows and wooded areas. The garden surrounds the house. There’s a beautiful covered porch, and the garden features cozy seating areas both in the sun and in the shade. The silence is always overwhelming. You won’t hear any traffic except for the occasional car that needs to be in the hamlet and the mail carrier. At night you can hear the owls; during the day, the birds and crickets. And every now and then, a roe deer wanders into the garden. You’ll have plenty of privacy here. You can park your car right by the house.

A beautiful view. The surrounding area is hilly, and with a little extra effort, it’s great for cycling. There are countless hiking trails starting from the house that wind through forests, sunflower fields, cornfields, and grain fields. A small river flows through the valley. The landscape retains an unspoiled purity and is very diverse. There are several swimming options—in the lake and in the Charente and Réjallant rivers—with lovely little beaches, playground equipment for the little ones, and a wonderful waterfall for older children. There’s a restaurant, a bocce court, and kayak and SUP rentals. A visit to the many villages and beautiful towns with their markets, festivals, castles, and abbeys is definitely worth your while. So is a visit to the “Maraies Poitevin” bird sanctuary Autorotative ULV (small helicopter) flight over the Charente Spiderweb in the trees The port city of La Rochelle Poitiers with its Futuroscope Angoulême with its comic book museums Horseback riding in Chenommet And the various fishing spots.
