From the village you can walk or cycle straight into the beautiful coulisse landscape, where wooded banks, meadows and winding paths alternate. The IJssel is a short distance away: one of the most beautiful rivers in the Netherlands, with viewpoints, footpaths and sunsets that make you stop and think for a moment. If you prefer forest and heath, the Veluwezoom is 8 kilometers away.Exploring outside nature? Within 15 minutes you are in Zutphen, an atmospheric Hanseatic city full of alleys, boutiques, rich history and good restaurants. Deventer is also nearby: lively, creative and known for its charming downtown and cozy terraces. Both cities are ideal for an afternoon of culture, shopping or a nice city walk.
