As soon as you cross the border from the Netherlands into Germany, you’ll immediately notice that the surroundings are different. There’s more space for peace and nature. Here you’ll find our farm, where we’ve converted a space into an apartment in 2024. It’s a comfortable place to unwind—cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It features a living room with an open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven/microwave, a fridge-freezer, a halogen cooktop, a dishwasher, a Senseo coffee maker, and a kettle. There are plenty of utensils to prepare a delicious meal. Coffee and tea are complimentary. There are two bedrooms, one with a box spring bed and one with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. There is a 5x10 m saltwater outdoor pool, 130 cm deep, open from May through October. We have 1.5 ha of land surrounding the farmhouse. This land is freely accessible.
Nature and surroundings
The meadow is being developed as a nature area. Roe deer, hares, and pheasants are often spotted here. We have a lawn with outdoor furniture for guests, where you can relax surrounded by nature. The surrounding area is perfect for cycling and hiking. Cross-border cycling routes start right outside our door. We’re located near Europe’s largest raised bog, which stretches from Germany all the way to Bargerveen. Wildlands Emmen is just 20 minutes away. You can also visit a fun zoo in Nordhorn. For children up to age 7, the Cowboy & Indians Play Paradise is a fun attraction in the area. Do you love history? Bad Bentheim Castle or Cloppenburg Castle are well worth a visit. Bourtange is also a unique place to see at least once. Cities such as Nordhorn, Lingen, Ootmarsum, Emmen, and Coevorden are all within a 35-kilometer radius.

Nice little house. Very friendly owners, clean, a lovely garden where you could sit in the sun, out of the wind and in privacy, and a nice kitchen.
Mooi huisje. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren, schoon, fijne tuin waar je privé, uit de wind in de zon kon zitten en fijne keuken.
A lovely garden where the dog could run around freely, a quiet neighborhood, and plenty of walking trails just a short drive away
Heerlijke tuin waar de hond lekker kon rondrennen, rustige omgeving, veel wandelgebieden op korte rijafstand
