For families with children, there’s plenty of space to play—both in and around the house, and in the playground on the surrounding grounds and on the nearby Needse Berg. There is a sauna on the property that can be rented. In combination with the Amethist workshop space, this group accommodation is also ideal for hosting multi-day courses. On Sundays, check-out is available until 6:00 PM.
Nature and surroundings
The group lodging is located on the 3.5-hectare grounds of Hof van Moeder Aarde. We regard and treat the entire grounds as a temple, a sacred space, and a playground for people of all ages. Together, we’re co-creating a little paradise here. In addition to the group accommodations and the Amethist workshop space, the grounds feature an old farmhouse dating from 1852 and a cooperative campground with 15 year-round sites, 15 seasonal sites, and 15 tourist campsites (where camping is only allowed during the May and summer vacations). One of the four camping fields also features a number of small recreational cabins that are available for rent. This nature house is located in a quiet area just outside Noordijk, a small hamlet near the village of Neede, in the municipality of Berkelland in the Achterhoek region. A really nice place
Prima fijne plek
We had a wonderful time. We thought it was a lovely location; we especially enjoyed the spacious living and dining room on the ground floor. There were plenty of chairs and tables, both inside and outside, for socializing and playing board games. The colorful decor—the paintings, pillows, bowls, mugs, plates, and so on—made it extra cozy. The welcome from you guys on Friday was friendly and clear. We felt right at home. We also used the fire pit—with marshmallows—yum! The atmosphere at Hof van Moeder Aarde is just lovely. We really enjoyed that, too.
Wij hebben het prima naar onze zin gehad. Wij vonden het en leuke locatie waarbij vooral de ruime woon en eetkamer op de begane grond fijn waren. Genoeg stoelen en tafels binnen en buiten om elkaar te ontmoeten en bordspellen te spelen. De kleurige inrichting, schilderijen, kussens, schaaltjes, mokken, borden en zo maken het extra gezellig. Ontvangst door julli op vrijdag was gemoedelijk en duidelijk. We voelden ons welkom. De vuurkorf is ook ingezet, met marshmallows, mjammie. De sfeer bij de Hof van Moeder Aarde is ook gewoon fijn. Daar hebben we ook van genoten.
