This luxuriously renovated barn is located in a small hameau, in the Puy-de-dome, the heart of Auvergne. It has the rustic charm of an old French village and is set amidst the green, rolling hills. In these hills, time passes slowly. Enjoy valley views, nature walks, kayaking on the Sioule River or just the peaceful silence. If you want to get a little more busy, visit one of the charming villages and towns that Auvergne has to offer.
Nature and surroundings
From this location you can enjoy all the greenery around you, including all the wild life such as foxes, deer, wild boar and a variety of birds and birds of prey. The area is perfect for hiking through the (sometimes steep) landscape and other sporting activities such as kayaking, rock climbing or cycling. Just 2.5 km away is the little river 'La Sioule', a wildly flowing river with huge rock faces on either side. A little further, about 40 car minutes away is the volcanic region of Auvergne with Puy-de-Dome and Puy-de-Sancy as literal highlights.
