Here, in the middle of the Veluwe Lake, you experience the freedom of camping combined with the convenience of a fully equipped tent. Our tents are spacious, cozy and have plenty of headroom, so you will always be comfortable. In the tent are made beds with soft mattresses, a gas stove and cooler, all the necessary cooking and eating utensils. Outside there is a table and a wood stove to light a cozy fire On the island there are 6 Bell tents: Two 2-person, two 4-person and two 6-person. On the nearby hill you can relax, enjoying the view of the water and the peace of nature. This is when you taste the real magic of camping.
Nature and surroundings
Island De Kluut is located in the middle of the Veluwemeer, near Harderwijk, a green oasis of nature. Perfect for those looking for a vacation on an uninhabited island in the heart of nature. You will be taken to the island by boat in 10 minutes. Our ferry sails four times a day to Flevoland, from where you can make all kinds of trips. There is an excellent toilet block on the island and also electricity to charge mobile devices. On Eiland De Kluut you really are away from it all. There are no cars or bikes, so you can enjoy nature and the calmness of the Veluwe Lake. Take a surprising walk on the island or find a nice spot on one of the cozy seats. Enjoy nature, listen to the birds, swim in the clean water and be surprised by the fantastic view of the Veluwemeer. Vacationing on an uninhabited island is perhaps the most relaxing experience you can imagine!
