You’ll stay with your entire group in a Frisian farmhouse dating from 1867, nestled between the Elfstedenwater and the meadows, 8 kilometers from Leeuwarden. Eighteen people in eight bedrooms: six farmhouse rooms for two, each with its own shower and toilet, and in the front house, one room for two and one for four, which share a bathroom with a tub. All bedrooms are on the First floor. Downstairs is a large living room with a long table for eighteen, the farmhouse kitchen and its five-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, and a living room at the front with a table for six. The farmhouse has its own sauna for six people, which is part of the house. The beds are made up. Your dog is welcome downstairs but not in the bedrooms. With Biggemar included—the room on the ground floor—the house can accommodate up to twenty people.
Nature and surroundings
You’ll be staying at Pean-buiten Weidum, a three-hectare estate in the Frisian meadow landscape, 8 kilometers from Leeuwarden. The estate is located directly on the Elfstedenwater, the Swette, and along the Elfstedenroute: the skating route, the Elfsteden cycling route, and the stand-up paddleboarding route. From the property, you can easily cycle or walk into the countryside, passing canals, farms, and small villages. Leeuwarden is 8 kilometers away, Sneek is 15 kilometers away, and Franeker is 25 kilometers away. On the property stands the farmhouse, built in 1867, which houses Restaurant WeidumerHout. For groups of eight or more, the restaurant is open daily by reservation, and breakfast must be reserved in advance. You can park for free on the property and walk to your accommodations with a luggage cart.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:

• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
