Beautiful location. Friendly owner.
Hygiene needs to improve. That’s really unacceptable. If something could be done about the manure smell (maybe a different spot…), that would be much better. Dogs were running loose on the grounds; I’d make sure they were on a leash. There was dog poop next to the cabin once. Really gross, especially during such a hot week.Mooie locatie. Hygiëne moet beter. Dat kan echt niet. Als er iets gedaan kan aan de mest geur (andere plek..) dan zou dat veel beter zijn. Honden los op het terrein, zou ik laten aanlijnen. The cleanliness was a nightmare. The floor was covered in sand, and your socks turned black instantly. The pillows were really, really dirty. We basically had to wash everything down before using it. Fortunately, the owner came by to bring new pillows, but that was definitely necessary. Sleeping on them was out of the question. You really shouldn’t rent out something that dirty, and there was no compensation whatsoever (like a free day’s bike rental or reimbursement for cleaning costs). The campground is large, especially since they still allow so many RVs in the parking lot, and there aren’t enough showers for that many people.
The surroundings are beautiful. It was peaceful, too. There was a strong, pungent smell of manure that was overpowering and seemed unhealthy to me.
The owner was friendly.Leuke blokhut. De hut zelf heeft nauwelijks horren terwijl er veel muggen zijn. Ik zou het inventaris stenen borden geven.
De schoonmaak was horror. De grond was vol zand en je sokken direct zwart. De kussens waren echt heel vies. Voor gebruik hebben we alles zowat eerst afgewassen. De eigenaar kwam gelukkig nieuwe kussens brengen, maar dat was ook echt nodig. Erop slapen was geen optie. Zo vies kun je iets echt niet verhuren en er kwam geen enkele compensatie (fietsen gratis een dagje huren of compensatie voor de schoonmaak kosten). De camping is groot, zeker als ze nog vele campers op het parkeerterrein toelaten en er zijn dan te weinig douches voor zoveel mensen.
De omgeving is mooi. De rust was ook aanwezig. Er hing een sterke penetrante mest geur die hevig was en me ongezond leek.
