Escape to nature in our cozy wooden log cabin! Do you dream of getting away from the daily hectic? To wake up to the sound of birds singing and enjoy a cup of coffee with a breathtaking unobstructed view? Look no further! Our cozy, all-wood log cabin is the perfect place to completely unwind. The cottage is cozy and cozy and offers all the basic comfort you need. The log cabin is located in our spacious, green yard of almost 9000m². You have all the space and privacy you need, surrounded by greenery. Inside you will find a cozy living room, a convenient kitchenette, a toilet and a comfortable bedroom. A few steps from the log cabin you will find a separate, heated sanitary cabin. This is completely private for you and has a nice, hot shower and an extra toilet. In short: the perfect place for those who love simplicity, nature and cosiness. In our yard, in addition to this log cabin, you will find a second log cabin.
Nature and surroundings
You are also staying a short distance from the National Park Drents-Friese Wold. This is one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in the Netherlands, known for its vast forests, unique shifting sands (the "Bald Dunes") and beautiful moors. A true paradise where you can cycle and walk endlessly. Bring your bikes or put on your walking shoes to explore this beautiful area. Within cycling distance you will also find the Fochteloërveen, one of the last large bog areas in Europe. This vast nature reserve offers an almost "un-Dutch" experience with its wide views and special silence. It is the proud home of the crane, which is breeding here again in abundance after years. An absolute must for an impressive walk or bike ride, where you really feel as if you are alone in the world. Our cottages are pet- and smoke-free.
