The detached house, around 200 years old, has been completely restored using very high-quality materials. On the first floor there is a large living room (35 m2) with a French beamed ceiling, oak parquet flooring and a cozy sitting area around a modern wood-burning stove. Also on the first floor is the spacious and well-equipped kitchen (22 m2). The upper floor can be reached via a beautiful staircase. There is a spacious and light-flooded room with oak parquet flooring, which is the bedroom (1 double bed - 200 x 160 cm) and also invites you to linger during the day. Off this room is a bathroom with walk-in shower and a small (9 m2) bedroom (1 double bed - 200 x 140 cm) with a gallery that offers another sleeping area.
Nature and surroundings
There is plenty of space around the house to relax on the sun loungers or dine on the spacious terrace (a selection of suitable garden furniture including a charcoal barbecue is available): From almost every seat you have a fantastic view: to the rear over the romantic meadows belonging to the house (about 3h), which are rented out and where Camargue horses regularly graze, and to the front over the village and the landscape of the beautiful Morvan. The house offers couples or families of up to 5 people a stylish place of peace and relaxation with lots of light in the middle of the 'Parc naturel régional du Morvan', a green oasis in the heart of Burgundy, far away from the stress of mass tourism (fast WLAN via fiber optics and satellite TV are nevertheless available).
