Located between Deventer and Zutphen, this beautiful 1905 manor farmhouse in Epse, known as the Nijhof Guest House, Nijhof is situated in a peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature, with birds singing, squirrels, and perhaps even deer. The entire home has been renovated; the kitchen exudes luxury and is equipped with modern appliances: a Quooker, a Bora induction cooktop, a dishwasher, and a wine cooler. Apple TV Thanks to the characteristic trusses, the kitchen flows seamlessly into the spacious living room with a fireplace and sunroom, featuring French doors leading to the garden. On the other side of the house is the spacious bedroom with ample storage space. The Auping bed is equipped with Pullman mattresses (2x90x2.10) for optimal comfort. Adjacent to this is a spacious bathroom with a rain shower and a second toilet. There is also a separate storage room. The naturally landscaped garden, surrounded by beautiful trees and rhododendrons, features a private terrace on a 900-square-meter lot that immediately gives you a sense of the outdoors, and includes a carport and private, lockable access.

With the lively Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen just around the corner, you’ll experience the best of both worlds here: getting out and about while enjoying a relaxing return home. Just 2 km away lies the village of Gorssel, with a charming village center, a variety of authentic shops, and a supermarket. The Gorsselse Heide and the IJssel floodplains are also nearby. Museum More, Europe’s largest museum of modern realism, is also located here, with a branch at Ruurlo Castle where you can admire art from the Netherlands and abroad. The surrounding estates and farm shops—offering their own produce and fascinating stories—make a stay here extra special.
