A peaceful Swedish nature house in Småland, near Kalmar and the coast. Torp Brändabo (renovated in 2025) is nestled among forests, lakes, and flowering meadows. Here you’ll find peace, space, and the ultimate opportunity to enjoy nature, the light, and the changing seasons. The price includes bedding, kitchen linens, and a guest towel, as well as electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning (heating/cooling). Not included: bath linens: 1 large and 1 small towel. You can book these as an optional add-on for €10 per person or bring your own. 1 cozy bedroom for up to 5 guests (1 bed 180 x 200 cm, 1 bunk bed 80 x 200 cm, and a fold-out children’s crib 60 x 120 cm). Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, induction cooktop, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, pots, and dishes. Bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, and additional heating. Living room with a seating area and workspace. Please note: The cottage has a ceiling height of 190/195 cm and features lower doorways. Smoking and/or pets are not permitted in the cottage.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in Torsås, a short distance from hiking trails, lakes, and traditional villages. Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, who want to hike, fish, or simply enjoy the Swedish silence and fresh air. The cottage is entirely at your disposal and is located on our property, next to our house. You’re also welcome to use the garden. Behind the cottage is an open area with an unobstructed view of the meadow where the sheep graze—perfect for quiet moments and enjoying nature. Just 200 meters away is a riding stable, so you’ll have a view of the horses. From the garden, a 4-kilometer-long forest stretches all the way to the next hamlet. A little further down the road, at our neighbors’ place, you can buy fresh eggs! For groceries, it’s a 15-minute drive to Torsås. Are you ready for a touch of Swedish magic? Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €100.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 21 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
