"Feel the peace, hear the nature, smell the land. Here, in this piece of Raerd everything comes at a different pace." You will find this cottage at our organic farm in the Frisian countryside. Here you really come to rest among the greenery, space and rhythm of nature. The cottage (about 60 m²) was just newly built in 2025 and furnished with care. It is suitable for two adults (not suitable for children under 21 years of age) and fully equipped. Inside you will find a nice living room with views over the countryside, a complete kitchen, a modern bathroom with shower. In addition, there is a washing machine. Of course, there is also wifi available, although you will soon find that you prefer to leave your phone for a while. In the morning you can enjoy a cup of coffee while the day begins quietly in the yard, and in the evening you look out over the fields where the sun is slowly setting. Nature and surroundings
Raerd is situated in the heart of Friesland, surrounded by vast meadows and water. The village itself has a special nature reserve: Park Jongemastate, an ancient estate where you can take a lovely walk among the old trees. Also in the surroundings you will find plenty of walking and cycling routes that take you through Frisian farmland, past small villages, churches and ditches. Will you take a bike with you or rent one? You can park it indoors and recharge it. Whether you come to explore nature, spot birds or just take a break, this nature house in Raerd is the ideal place to experience Frisian country life in all its peace and simplicity.
