A special overnight stay for hikers and anyone who loves nature. Everything you need is in your backpack, which you have to pack consciously beforehand...what do you really need? A challenge ... Under the roof of the Fettsmühle is a sleeping loft with 4 beds. Toilet and simple camping shower (without heating) are at 50mtr walking distance. In the outdoor kitchen it is possible to make a one-pot meal in a Dutchoven pan. Kitchen utensils, cutlery, plates and cups are provided. It is within walking distance and you can park your car at a pre-arranged place, also you will receive via email the route. Walking through the Hunsrück Forest you will enter another world....
Nature and surroundings
It is a beautiful environment. For hiking or just to be.... On the Fettsberg is Stage 19 of the SaarhunsrückSteig, which is easily accessible from us (few minutes). At 45 - 60 minutes walking distance from the Fettsmühle you will find the famous Hängeseilbrücke which goes from Mörsdorf to Sosberg, a fun adventure! Furthermore, there are many hiking trails to reach from the Fettsmühle, lots of recommendations and super beautiful surroundings.
