La Limonaia Cortona Casa La Limonaia is a detached guesthouse just outside Cortona, suitable for four to five people. The house has two bedrooms: one with a large comfortable king-size bed and one with a fine bunk bed. There is a new bathroom with a spacious shower, a spacious well-equipped kitchen and a bright living room with a cozy sitting area. The dining area is the heart of the house, a place to enjoy long meals together, a good glass of wine or a quiet breakfast. You will still find original Tuscan details that give the house character and charm. The whole place feels warm and comfortable, with modern amenities that contribute to a relaxing stay. Fast and stable Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and Cortona is just a few minutes' drive away. The train stations of Camucia and Terontola are also nearby, making cities like Florence and Rome easily accessible.
Nature and surroundings
Casa La Limonaia is located in the middle of the hills of Tuscany, surrounded by olive groves, cypresses and old dirt roads that invite you to walk or cycle. The peace and space around the house make you immediately unwind. In the early morning you only hear birds and the soft rustling of the trees. During the day the light constantly changes and towards the evening the sky turns golden, with impressive sunsets over the Val di Chiana.The garden offers several nice places to sit outside - whether you want to have breakfast in the sun, read a book in the shade of the olive trees or dine together under a garland of lights. From the grounds you overlook the Tuscan countryside, with rolling hills and vineyards as far as you can see. Cortona, just a few minutes' drive away, is a charming town full of history, restaurants and local markets. Its central location makes day trips to Florence, Siena, Montepulciano or Lake Trasimeno easy and attractive.
