Those who love silence and stars are in her place. What was once an old stable has been converted into a delightful vacation home. The interior is simple, warm and charming. On three sides you look out over the beautiful rolling countryside with chickens, a horse and donkey within petting distance. A wonderful silence overwhelms you at this nature house. Under the starry sky, owls call to each other. In whatever season you come, here you can well unwind. For children, the garden is a nice fenced playground with a sandbox, swing, slide and pool. WIFI (fiber optic). ChromeCast (Netflix, NLZIET etc). Downstairs are a 2-person folding bed (140x190cm) and a 1-person folding bed/chair (70x185cm). In the open loft there are 2 single beds. The cottage is located at the end of the village which consists of 15 houses. The hilly landscape consists of meadows, interspersed with forests and villages. It is wonderful walking and cycling here, where you can encounter hares, rabbits, pheasants, birds of prey, deer, badgers and wild boars. We have free WANDELROUTES to borrow. Just over half an hour away you reach the varied coast. You will find sandy beaches, cliffs, pebble beaches and the mouth of the River Somme with nice 'past glory' towns such as le Crotoy and St Valery. The Marquenterre bird nature reserve is interesting to visit every season, as well as Le Hourdel and Berck-sur-Mer, where you can spot seals. At 5 km is Auxi le Chateau with supermarkets, banks, GP, pharmacy, cafes etc. We have a large list with various tips and outings for old and young: coastal towns, beaches, markets, flea markets, restaurants, sports & games et cetera.
