Nature house in São Luís

Our nature house (35m²), located just 5min. walk from the center of São Luis, consists of a living room with kitchen (with refrigerator, stove, 2x coffee maker, kettle and microwave), a bedroom (with a 2p bed of 1.40 x 2.00m) and a bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. In the living room/kitchen there is a dining table with four chairs and a sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00m) and a TV with Portuguese channels. A crib is available. The nature house has its own driveway and is fenced all around. In front of the cottage is a large terrace (4 x 7m) of which half is covered. The view is over our grounds (0.8ha), the chicken coop and the swimming pool (4.5 x 7m). Free use of Wi-Fi and pets (max. 2) are welcome. We ourselves have 3 dogs, 6 cats (2 of them almost continuously at the cottage), chickens and a rooster running around. Note: You have to cross our property, i.e. pass our dogs, to get to the pool, which is no problem for them.

The village of São Luís is located in the Baixo Alentejo between Cercal and Odemira on the N120 Lisbon-Algarve road, about 2 hours drive from both Lisbon and Faro airports and only 15 minutes from the coast and beaches. Our house is on the outskirts of the village and very easy to reach, and between São Luís and the coast lies the beautiful Parque Natural Sudoest Alentejano Costa Vicentina, a perfect place for fantastic, peaceful nature walks. São Luís (as well as our vacation home) is even situated directly on one of the beautiful hiking routes, the "Historical Way", of the Rota Vicentina, which runs for example from Cercal to Odemira. The nearest seaside resort is V.N. de Milfontes (15 km), where mostly Portuguese tourists come and where you will find many nice restaurants and stores. Here the river Mira, the cleanest river in Europe, flows into the Atlantic Ocean and you will find beautiful beaches, both on the river and on the ocean.
