Welcome to our cottage on the edge of the Veluwe in a varied landscape of streams, forests and farms. From our garden you have direct access to a large pond with beautiful clear water. The cottage has a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The room has a separate sleeping area where a luxury box spring is made. In the living area is a television and of course there is free wifi. The kitchen has a 2 burner induction hob with a hood above and a refrigerator. There is a kettle and coffee maker. Adjacent to the cottage is a sheltered terrace with garden furniture. Bicycles can be stored and charged in the veranda.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in a watery area with woodlands, streams (sprengen), large & smaller ponds. An area rich in nature, culture and recreation. For nature lovers there is something special to see every season. Last year we had regular visits from the "house" buzzard, a raven family, the cuckoo, numerous songbirds, but .... the kingfisher remains our topper! Explore the immediate area via the wooden shoes path that runs along our farm (the "Loobrinkerpad"). Or visit nearby the beauty and wellness resort 'De Veluwsebron', or 'Burnside' (water skiing, terrace). By bike you can easily reach Castle Cannenburch in Vaassen or on the heath near Epe. The nearby villages of Epe or Vaassen are nice to visit or to do your shopping. The nearest supermarket is in Emst. A little further you will find Palace 't Loo in Apeldoorn or the beautiful old town of Deventer. Actually, there is too much to mention.
