Nice little cottage, comfortable beds.
Very clean, beautiful surroundings.
It was very hot while we were there, so there wasn't much to do, although there was a really nice swimming spot right behind it.

Fijn huisje, heerlijke bedden.
Lekker schoon ,mooie omgeving
Dat wij er waren was het heel warm en kon je niet zoveel,al was er zo vlak achter een heel mooie zwemplas.

Super clean, everything you need in the cottage, and everything in the perfect spot. We were very satisfied—a cottage we’d love to visit again in the future.

Superschoon, alles aanwezig in het huisje alles op een perfecte plek. Zeer tevreden een huisje om in de toekomst nog een keer naar toe te gaan.

My experience of the nature house itself suffered somewhat from the reception via terrace to front door. The terrace was not swept, still weed free, this did not look welcoming. Unfortunately in the cottage itself and especially in the bathroom there was an unpleasant smell (kind of sewer smell). I shared this, but they did not look into it. Furthermore, the cottage initially looked clean, but in certain places like the nightstand next to the bed it was not clean. Nevertheless, I slept there wonderfully and enjoyed the beautiful bathroom (despite the smell). The space (kitchen, sitting area, dining area and sleeping area) were fine! I am used to other nature houses/bed and breakfast that people check during the stay if everything is to your liking, this was not the case. A shower mat would be nice and some attention to cleanliness of terrace and dotting the i's inside will make for a more optimal experience :-) ! Happy summer !!! We certainly investigated your complaint and stuck our noses in everything, but really couldn't detect anything! It could be that the water trap in the shower was initially dry. That has now been replenished. The patio will always have leaves despite a sweep due to all the trees around us. Still, thanks for your review, it helps us to dot the 'i's! Greetings Els

Mijn ervaring van het natuurhuisje zelf heeft wat geleden onder de ontvangst via terras naar voordeur. Het terras was niet geveegd, nog onkruid vrij, dit oogde niet gastvrij. Helaas hing er in het huisje zelf en dan vooral in de badkamer een onaangename geur (soort rioollucht). Ik heb dit gedeeld, maar men heeft er niet naar gekeken. Verder zag het huisje er in eerste instantie schoon uit, maar op bepaalde plekken zoals bij het nachtkastje naast het bed was het niet schoon. Alsof men toch niet grondig had schoongemaakt.
Neemt niet weg dat ik er heerlijk geslapen heb en genoten heb van de mooie badkamer (ondanks de geur). De ruimte (keuken, zitgedeelte, eet- en slaapplek) waren prima!
Ik ben gewend bij andere natuurhuisjes/bed and breakfast dat men gedurende het verblijf checkt of alles naar wens is, dat was nu niet. Een douchemat zou fijn zijn en wat aandacht aan netheid van terras en puntjes op de i binnen zullen voor een optimalere ervaring zorgen :-) ! Fijne zomer !!!

Beste Janine, fijn dat je ondanks jouw eerste indruk, toch een goed verblijf hebt gehad. We hebben zeker onderzoek gedaan naar jouw klacht en overal onze neus in gestoken, maar echt niets kunnen waarnemen! Het zou kunnen zijn dat het waterslot in de douche in eerste instantie droog stond. Dat is nu aangevuld. Het terras zal ondanks een veegbeurt altijd wel bladeren bevatten door alle bomen om ons heen. Toch bedankt voor je review, dat helpt ons om de puntjes op de ‘i’ te zetten!

The nature house "de Ijsvogel" is close to a beautiful recreation area where you can swim and for example also water skiing. You are so in Apeldoorn and the wellness resort "the Veluwe Source" is next door.The village of Emst is easy to reach on foot and in the immediate vicinity there are nice wooden shoe paths to follow. The concert of birds was beautiful, until late in the evening. In Vaassen is the beautiful castle Cannenburch which is next to Emst. In short great place to stay from where there are fun activities to do!

Het natuurhuisje "de Ijsvogel" ligt dicht tegen een mooi recreatiegebied aan waar je kunt zwemmen en bijvoorbeeld ook kunt waterskiën. Je bent zo in Apeldoorn en het wellness resort "de Veluwse Bron" ligt naast de deur.
Het dorpje Emst is makkelijk te voet te bereiken en in de directe omgeving zijn er leuke klompenpaden te volgen. Het concert van de vogels was prachtig, tot laat in de avond. In Vaassen staat het mooie kasteeltje Cannenburch dat naast Emst ligt. Kortom prima plek om te vertoeven van waaruit leuke activiteiten te doen zijn!
