Our cottage has a spacious dining-living room with induction cooktop, espresso coffee machine, milk frother, refrigerator with freezer, dining table TV, and a sofa bed. Through the sliding door you look out over a private terrace and a forest path with several old trees on either side, characteristic of the Frisian coulisse landscape. The bedroom gives access to a spacious bathroom with toilet sink and rain shower. When it gets chilly the cozy pallet wood stove quickly gives a cozy and warm atmosphere in the room.
Nature and surroundings
The former adjacent meadow has been transformed into a nature area of over a hectare with a large swimming pond in the center and slopes on which grow mainly naturally occurring crops but also shrubs and trees that would not be out of place in a food forest. The whole area was only constructed in 2023 and it is fascinating how quickly nature has embraced the landscape, the biodiversity has already increased enormously in terms of insects and amphibians, but also the kingfisher, the swallow and the goldfinch have now become permanent residents and mammals such as hedgehogs, martens and deer we see more than before, also the badger likes to scurry around the neighborhood.

The cottage is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Good bed, good chairs, nice shower, and very nice and hospitable owners!
