Luxurious stays at the stud farm Our property is a place where life moves a little slower. We’ve furnished our apartments with a lot of love. Warm wood tones, soft colors, and cozy nooks where you can sit together or curl up with a book. Inside, you’ll find not only a cozy and comfortable atmosphere but also all the amenities you need: a fully equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals, a box bed with extra-long 210-cm mattresses for a restful night’s sleep, and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower that makes every day feel like a treat. Outside, you step right into the silence and open spaces of the Achterhoek. Whether you choose a long walk, a bike ride through the bocage landscape, or simply a day of doing nothing—here you can wake up without rushing, savor life’s little moments, and truly experience the outdoors.

Our property is located in the heart of an area that has endless attractions for hikers and cyclists. Nearby is the Rondje Markvelde: a varied route along the Schipbeek, over the Needse Berg, and through the Noordijkerveld, offering tranquility, woods, and beautiful views. The Boereneschpad is also highly recommended: an 11-km clog trail through fields, heathland, and past charming farmsteads toward Geesteren and Gelselaar. Those who prefer to choose their own route will find countless short and longer hikes on Komoot, featuring old trees, little bridges, and surprising views. Cyclists will be in heaven—the Achterhoek has been named the most beautiful cycling region in the Netherlands. Routes wind past hedgerows, streams, and historic farms. Along the way, you’ll find an ice cream farm or even a farm bike tour where you can get a taste of country life. For culture, visit the charming town of Diepenheim, with its castles and estates. Here, you’ll experience the Achterhoek in all its tranquility, history, and beauty.
