Luxurious sloap'n on the stud farm Our yard is a place where life can slow down a bit. Where you start the day with a cup of coffee while the horses stand quietly in the meadow, and where the dogs or cats curiously come to greet you. We have decorated our apartments with love. Warm wood tones, soft colors and corners where you can sit together or just crawl away with a book. Inside you are not only cozy and comfortable, but also equipped with all comforts: a complete kitchen for cooking, a box bed with extra long mattresses of 210 cm for a wonderful night's sleep and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower that feels like a pampering moment every day. Outside you step directly into the silence and space of the Achterhoek. Whether you choose a long walk, a bike ride through the scenic countryside or just a day of doing nothing - here you may wake up without hurry, enjoy small moments and really experience the outdoors.
Nature and surroundings
Our yard is located in the middle of an area that has endless things to offer hikers and cyclists. Nearby runs the Rondje Markvelde: a varied route along the Schipbeek, over the Needse Berg and through the Noordijkerveld, with silence, forest and beautiful views. The Boereneschpad is also highly recommended: a clog path of 11 km through fields, heathland and along charming farmyards towards Geesteren and Gelselaar. Those who prefer to choose for themselves can find numerous short and longer walks with old trees, bridges and surprising views via Komoot. Cyclists can indulge themselves - the Achterhoek has been declared the most beautiful cycling area in the Netherlands. Routes wind past wooded banks, streams and historic farms. Along the way, an ice cream farm or even a farm bicycle tour awaits where you can taste rural life. For culture, visit charming Diepenheim, with its castles and estates. Here you can experience the Achterhoek in all its tranquility, history and beauty.
