A unique overnight stay in a charming historic farmhouse in the Betuwe. You’ll stay in a bright, spacious living room with a large bedroom on the ground floor, as well as a sleeping loft, shower, toilet, and kitchenette. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, hikers, and nature lovers. BnB Bloesem is located on the outskirts of Neerijnen along the main road. Once you cross the street, you can walk straight into the woods of the Neerijnen estate. The Waal River and its floodplains are within walking distance; there are many hiking and biking trails, and several restaurants nearby. In the orchard behind the farmhouse, you can find a quiet spot to retreat to. There you’ll also find the wellness corner with an outdoor shower and a wood-fired hot tub. Or if you’d rather cook over an open fire, we’ll provide all the ingredients and equipment. Fancy a drink? We’ll provide a basket full of treats with local wine! Or challenge each other to a game of bocce. Combined with Het Voorhuis, the property can accommodate up to 6 people.
Nature and surroundings
The B&B is within walking distance of the beautiful floodplains of the Waal River and close to the woods and avenues of the Neerijnen and Waardenburg estates. It’s a wonderful place for walking and biking. Nearby are picturesque towns such as Zaltbommel, Buren, Wijk bij Duurstede, and Woudrichem. Den Bosch and Gorinchem are beautiful cities that have even more to offer. A 10-minute walk away, you’ll find a simple little restaurant on the banks of the Waal; especially in the summer, it’s a great spot to relax on the patio and watch the sun set. The surrounding area is home to countless restaurants, as well as farm shops with wonderful products. We’ve left more information about these in the rooms, and please don’t hesitate to ask us for great tips.
