The nature houses are part of our garden. They are located on the edge of the small medieval town of Meisenheim am Glan. We live in the house next door. Here, on the outskirts of Meisenheim, you can enjoy the peace and quiet, far away from everyday life. Sit by the fire in the fireplace or by the wood-burning stove and watch the stars. Listen to the nightingale in spring and find relaxation and peace, far away from perfectionism. This small house shows how little you actually need to live. Close to nature, organic and vegan.

I stayed in a cottage (my favorite piece: the coffee grinder!) with clay plastered walls, furnished with a lot of love and care in every detail, and heated with wood (not difficult). The hosts have their biologically and conceptually very interesting house on the same property, which is essentially a vegetable garden for self-sufficiency, but also includes a sauna and a cold water plunge pool, which I was allowed to use. It was lovely to sit outside and look at the sky or nature. There was nothing missing in the house; there were slippers, bedding, towels, games and books (great: the history of Meisenheim!) and a cuddly cat. I was completely blown away by the soothing personal and unaffected atmosphere; I was even given vegetables as a gift. If sustainability is important to you, or at least something that interests you, you will be inspired along the way.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

"Oasis&#34 (from the guest book); probably sums it up best. The location is heavenly quiet and undisturbed, but not isolated on a path leading into the forest where no one ever seemed to be on the move. Although you are not far from civilization, you are not aware of it and are very tactfully left in peace [Note: I could not answer all the questions about possible leisure activities in the area; I left them at "not applicable", even though this is of course not applicable: it may well be that you can go horse riding around Meisenheim, for example, but I have no idea whether or not].

What does “contactless stay” mean?
You can stay here without personal contact with the host, for example via a key safe or digital access. A contactless stay does not always have to be mandatory.
What does “Fireworks-free” mean?
The host indicates that the area is firework-free. Firework-free means that no firework bangs can be heard in and around the accommodation. You might occasionally hear some noise or see some light from fireworks set off outside the immediate area. It is important that you agree with the landlord on what you can expect.
Selection of activities
After each stay, we invite our guests to rate the nature house, the surroundings, and specific activities. An activity is only shown at a nature house if it meets two conditions: at least 20 unique reviews have been given, and at least 60% of guests gave a score of ‘amazing’ (3/4) or ‘wow’ (4/4).
