This forest villa is a characterful sixties house for 2 guests (max. 4 with children). You stay in a Kempen private forest (approx. 5,000 m²), accessible via a forest road; from the driveway you walk approx. 65 m to the front door. Inside, the 4.5 m long built-in aquarium immediately catches your eye: a living decor at the sitting area and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped; there are an electric fireplace, projector with Netflix, high-speed wifi and air conditioning. Sleeping arrangements: 1 bedroom downstairs with double bed (180 cm) and upstairs a second double bed (180 cm). Bathroom with shower and bathtub, plus a hot outdoor shower next to the bathroom. Outside is a large round wooden terrace; the outside chimney lets you cook on wood fire on two sides. Electric car charging is possible via an outlet in the driveway (private cable). 7-night booking possible on request.
Nature and surroundings
During the renovation, we brought this 1960s home energetically to today, with a warm, material-efficient OSB finish. At the same time, we restored the neglected forest: removed trash and exotics, built paths and put in new plantings. You can feel the result-the forest is alive again, with squirrels, many birds and the occasional deer. From the door you step right into the Kempen walking and cycling routes. Stores and cozy restaurants are nearby; with children there are playgrounds, swimming pond De Lilse Bergen and indoor playground MegaSpeelstad. After booking you will receive digital guides with practical info, tips and manuals. A technical area can be entered sporadically through a separate entrance; your privacy is always guaranteed.
