In late 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment with all the comforts. And we speak from experience because while renovating our own house, we lived in it ourselves! There is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and induction hob. Furthermore, the living room has a nice sitting area and spacious dining area with four chairs. The bedroom has a lovely box spring of 1.6m to really rest. The shower and toilet are two separate rooms from each other. Your four-legged friend is welcome! The terrace is fenced so you and your dog can relax together.
Nature and surroundings
The residence is in a rural location, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for walking and cycling. But a visit to one of the Wadden Islands is also among the possibilities. In the village itself there is also plenty of nature. In Tytsjerk itself you will find Park Vijversburg, in the village also called the forest of Ypey. A historic park full of surprises: a villa, glass pavilion, exotic cactus plant collection and bird aviary. There are regular exhibitions, workshops and events.Between Tytsjerk and Leeuwarden is Recreatiepark De Groene Ster. It is a beautiful, watery area with forests, beaches and recreational facilities, such as a pavilion. For dogs, there is a large off-leash area.
