Our historic farmhouse is detached with a view of the Posbank, in a meander of the river IJssel, near Middachten Castle in De Steeg. We offer you, with respect for nature and the environment, a cozy apartment (40 m2) with private entrance. The rooms have been completely renovated in a combination of nostalgic old and modern comfort. The apartment consists of a bedroom/living room (double bed), a shower room and separate bathtub, toilet and a kitchen where you can prepare a simple meal or breakfast (combi-oven and single induction hob). Parking is available on our property and you can charge your electric car and bikes at our place. Inside is space to store your bikes. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed because our chickens and peacocks regularly walk in the garden. You can make your own breakfast but we are also happy to offer you breakfast in consultation and according to your needs. You are free to use coffee and tea. Linen is provided.
Nature and surroundings
The Havikerwaard, where our farm is located, is over 180 hectares in size and is sandwiched between the Veluwezoom moraine and a large bend in the river IJssel. A unique landscape where nature and agriculture go together. Our house is surrounded by a spacious garden where you can relax in several places.
