Attractive family farmhouse in the Achterhoek In the middle of the beautiful hedgerow landscape of the Achterhoek you will find this detached, lovingly restored farmhouse. Here everything revolves around peace, space and atmosphere. The farm is suitable for 15 persons and has 6 bedrooms and 3 modern bathrooms. 1 of the beds is a characteristic high sleeper. There are also 3 separate toilets. With an interior area of 360M2 everyone will be able to find their own place. The large living kitchen with its fireplace is the heart of the house. Kids can play all around in the yard and in the forest, there is even a real cableway of 30 meters in the forest. The tree swing and go-karts are also popular. From the end of October 2025, you can also experience all this from the hot tub. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Due to its quietness, this house is not suitable for youth groups or bachelor parties. Too much noise is not appreciated and is therefore not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
From the farmhouse you look out over the meadows, where deer and pheasants can be regularly seen. The beautiful Saxon farmhouse is located in a unique spot. Cycling or walking in the Achterhoek, means being surprised after every turn by a beautiful vista or a characteristic wooded bank. Within walking distance is the Hilgelo, a beautiful recreational lake for swimming or supping. Dottinkrade (1.5 km away) is a typical Achterhoek nature reserve, full of beautiful deciduous forests and streams. The Korenburgerveen is a vulnerable bog area near Winterswijk, also great for hiking.Golf Course De Voortwisch, Golf & Country is less than 4 km away.Winterswijk (4km) has an entertaining center, with the weekly market on Wednesday morning and Saturday. Museum Villa Mondrian is a museum about the early years of the painter Piet Mondrian. It is located in his former parental home in Winterswijk. In short, much to experience and especially to relax in this nature house.
