Immerse yourself in peace, simplicity, and a touch of nostalgia at this unique Bed & Breakfast tucked away in the greenery of charming Oldeberkoop. This isn’t just any place to stay—you’ll sleep in a lovingly crafted mobile home, decorated down to the last detail in a cozy, rustic style that takes you back to a time of simplicity and freedom. The mobile home is fully equipped with all the comforts you need: a comfortable double bed with a TV, a sitting area to relax in, a compact bathroom, a kitchen (no cooking facilities), and a charming terrace where you can watch the dew glisten on the grass in the morning’s first sunlight. Breakfast is available upon request for €12.50 per person. Thialf is a 20-minute drive from the B&B. We have a small-scale furniture workshop and a cozy home goods shop in the front part of the farmhouse, decorated in a rustic, understated style.

The picturesque village of Oldeberkoop is the oldest village in the region. It is situated on a sand ridge between the Linde and Tjonger rivers. The village was first mentioned in 1228, when Frisian warriors gathered in “Brokope” to march into Drenthe. Over the years, Oldeberkoop has managed to retain its rustic character. Oldeberkoop has beautiful park forests: the Koepelboschen, the Molenboschen, and the Sterrebosch. A few years ago, volunteers began restoring and revitalizing these park forests. It would be nicer if there were blackout curtains on the windows.
