This little cottage in the countryside is located in Mattarana, a village in the inland region of Eastern Liguria near the Cinque Terre. It’s centrally located between Genoa and Pisa (about an hour’s drive from both), offering the chance to explore eastern Liguria (from Genoa to Lerici, passing through Comogli, Portofino, and Rapallo Sestri Levante, the Cinque Terre, and Portovenere) and Upper Tuscany (Lucca, Pisa, Versilia, and Garfagnana). Situated on a hillside at 500 meters above sea level, it offers comfortable, peaceful accommodations surrounded by greenery, where you can enjoy the cool evening air. You’ll have access to a spacious 80-square-meter apartment with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a covered terrace, and a garden for your exclusive use. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and a small freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a dryer, a large-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. Private parking is available. From the garden, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Val di Vara and the Apuan Alps.

Mattarana’s location—not far from the coast and conveniently close to the Corrodano-Levanto highway exit—means there are plenty of options for guests: Beaches (Deiva, Bonassola, and Levanto are 25–35 minutes away) Visits to the Cinque Terre (travel to Levanto and then continue by train, on foot, or by boat) Hiking both along the coast and in mountainous areas (Alta Via dei Monti Liguri), Visits to Genoa (an hour’s drive) and the towns of Eastern Liguria (Camogli, Portofino, Rapallo, Sestri Levante, Portovenere, Lerici—all between 30 minutes and an hour away), visit destinations in Upper Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Versilia)—about 60 minutes away—and Florence (2 hours).
