With 2 or 4 people you rent the front house of a traditional Achterhoek farmhouse. Since 1950 a residential farm. 115 m2 bg, 50 m2 bv. Occupied by a couple who stay elsewhere when renting The interior is pleasant. A space in which to live comfortably. The paintings partly belong to the lady of the house. The farmhouse offers an ambiance for quiet reading. The old-fashioned wood stove dispels any evening chill. The dry wood supply is sufficient. The sunroom enhances the experience of the surrounding landscape. There are several seating areas and the trees surrounding the house provide cooling during hot days. A morning walk can be in the private forest and in the immediate vicinity along the orchid field and the most beautiful oak tree of the Achterhoek, The kitchen offers all the desired amenities. You cook on induction.Upstairs are two bedrooms of your choice. As well as the shower room. See the photos. The beds are suitable for a refreshing night's sleep.
Nature and surroundings
The farm is located in the scenic appeal of the coulisse landscape of Winterswijk-Brinkheurne.You share this quiet place with many birds.Merlin birds app once recorded twenty different singers. Butterflies like to keep you company. In 2008 I was able to record 25 species. I cannot guarantee that top anymore. Squirrels are frequent, as are bats. The deer are regular visitors.Books to recognize birds,butterflies and plants are available.Lists of nature present on the site are ready. If necessary, the visitor can complete the lists.The farm is located on one of the bicycle node routes. A special facility to discover the landscape of the East Achterhoek.Visit the Korenburgerveen (cranes), the Wooldseveen, the Steengroeve (eagle owl) and the Zwillbrock (flamengo's) on the border with Germany.Museum Villa Mondriaan worth a visit if the weather is a bit bad
