Our nature house (100 m²) is situated in a sunny spot above an olive grove, offering sweeping views across the valley to the sea. A chestnut forest begins right behind the house, making it ideal for walks. Layout Ground Floor: Kitchen with sink and washing machine, living room with sofa and satellite TV, dining area with pellet stove, sleeper sofa (100×200), and access to the southwest-facing terrace with panoramic views. Bathroom with shower/toilet, “Rose” bedroom (160×200) with access to the terrace. Upper Floor: "Minze" room with a work area, a sofa bed (90×190), and access to the second terrace. "Hortensie" bedroom (140×200) with a view over the valleys. The villa consists of two separate sections with separate entrances. Only the section shown is available for rent; the other section is rarely used privately—so you can enjoy peace and privacy. At the entrance, there is a garden hose for rinsing off the dogs. Parking is available right next to the house, with access via a paved road. Dogs are welcome and can roam freely.
Nature and surroundings
Hiking trails leading through forests and olive groves to small medieval villages begin right outside the front door. You can go on hikes lasting several hours without using a car. The landscape is so fertile that Montedivalli is also called “La Serra”—like a natural greenhouse. Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and sage grow in the garden, and guests are welcome to pick them themselves. The villa is located in Lunigiana, an unspoiled region of northern Tuscany on the border with Liguria, and serves as a strategic starting point for excursions into both regions. Unlike the tourist-overrun neighboring towns, the focus here is on authentic, personalized tourism. The region is known for its numerous castles and delicious regional cuisine. The sea is only about 15 km away, as are the world-famous Cinque Terre and the beaches of Versilia. Guests appreciate the combination of undisturbed tranquility in this nature retreat, regional country life, and cultural highlights.
