Sleep in the woods, in this nature house A break from the hustle and bustle. Back to simplicity. Surrounded by nature, on the beautiful Wekeromse Zand in the Veluwe, stand our three charming wooden camping cabins Here, it’s all about peace, space, and experiencing nature. No electricity, television, or luxury—just a comfortable double bed with linens, fresh forest air, and the sounds of the woods. In the morning, you’ll enjoy a simple, delicious breakfast in our barn, featuring a fresh egg, rolls, coffee, and tea. Your stay includes one guided nature walk. You can choose between a walk with our alpacas, a walk with our donkeys, or a foraging walk. We’ll plan this together in advance. Outside, there are wood-fired baths. You fill your bath yourself with buckets of water and heat it with wood. A unique experience for those who love the pure outdoors. There are simple shared outdoor showers with lukewarm water and a toilet.
Nature and surroundings
The Wekeromse Zand is one of the most remarkable nature reserves in the Veluwe. This vast drifting sand landscape feels almost un-Dutch: open sandy plains alternate with heathland, juniper bushes, and old pine forests. Scattered throughout the area are also imposing beech trees, which have grown wide thanks to the space and light, giving the landscape an almost timeless character. Due to the wind, the open character, and the sweeping views, the area is constantly changing and looks different every season. The tranquility and openness of this landscape invite you to slow down and let go of the pace of everyday life. In the simplicity of nature, space opens up for conversation, listening, and reflection. You’ll find edible plants and herbs, unique insects, and traces of wildlife such as roe deer, wild boars, and foxes. Thanks to its peaceful setting, it is a place where people set out together, where relationships can deepen, and where there is room for personal growth and connection—with God and with one another.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €50.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
