The unique, natural hunting lodge is located on a slope of approx. 2000 square meters in a park-like garden with old trees on the outskirts of Mindelheim. The hunting lodge dates from the early years of the last century, has of course been restored several times and consists of two floors with a total of approx. 50 square meters. On the upper floor is the light-flooded dining and kitchen area with veranda and terrace. The bedroom and bathroom are located on the lower floor. The dining area is equipped with a fridge, a dishwasher, a double ceramic hob, a gas barbecue and a coffee machine as well as all the necessary cooking and eating utensils. Garden loungers with cushions and a patio heater are also available. The large bedroom has a double bed and direct access to a modern bathroom.
Nature and surroundings
From the wooden veranda, your gaze wanders over the historic old town of Mindelheim, which you can reach on foot in just 10 minutes. In front of you, water gushes powerfully from a large granite rock and flows down the stream to a pond in which red and blue orfe as well as white and gray sturgeon live. The pond terrace invites you to chill out. You can also make yourself comfortable on the covered terrace between the dining and kitchen area of the hut and the large lawn with its own fireplace. If you climb another 30 meters up from there on a paved path, you can also settle down for a snack or a sundowner at 680 meters above sea level and enjoy the view of the imposing Alpine chain. You have sun all day long in various places, but also cool spots in the shade of the trees, which you will appreciate on hot days. Our family includes a large dog.
