Nature and surroundings
The treehouse is part of Buitenplaats Koningsweg, a unique cultural enclave that embraces nature. Hidden within this natural forest setting are 11 follies. After 10 p.m., it must be quiet so as not to disturb the nocturnal animals in their search for food. If you’re lucky, you can spot the forest animals at dusk through binoculars from the terrace. Just around the corner from the treehouse is De Hoge Veluwe National Park, Schaarsbergen entrance. The Kröller-Müller Museum is a 20-minute bike ride away. The Veluwezoom, the Posbank, and the nearby heathlands offer many hiking, biking, and mountain biking trails. On the south side of Buitenplaats Koningsweg, 10 kilometers away, lies the bustling center of Arnhem, where you can enjoy a day of culture or soak up the city’s lively atmosphere. Burgers’ Zoo and the Dutch Open-Air Museum are also just around the corner. There’s something for everyone.

Compact and cleverly designed. The terrace, which can be an extension of the cottage, and lots of glass made it feel very spacious. It has a wonderful shower and good beds. The kitchen has everything for extensive cooking.
