Nature house in Almadena

We encountered several issues:
- Had to buy a drain cleaner for the shower
- Had to buy trash bags because there were no spare ones
- There was an ant infestation, so we threw away a lot of food
- We were told it would take 48 hours to get a hot shower; the landlord didn’t mention that we were operating the water incorrectly, even though we sent her several videos
- The stovetop isn’t working. It displays error code 7.
- Unable to turn on the Wi-Fi; it doesn’t even show up in the network list
- The lights don’t work at all. When we cooked late at night, we had to use our phone’s flashlight.

We requested a refund from the owner for the drain cleaner and trash bags, but she hasn’t responded, even though she’s seen our messages.
The same thing happened when we told her the shower drains were clogged. Since then, we haven’t heard back from her despite sending numerous messages.

We’re disappointed with our stay.

Nous avons eu plusieurs problématiques :
- achat d’un déboucheur de canalisation pour la douche
- Achat de sac poubelle car aucun de rechange
- Invasion de fourmis donc on a jeté beaucoup de nourriture
- On a entendu 48 heures pour prendre une douche chaude, la propriétaire n’a pas précisé qu’on actionnait mal l’eau alors que plusieurs vidéos ont été envoyés
- Plaque de cuisson qui n’est pas fonctionnelle. Elle se met en défaut code erreur 7.
- Impossible d’activer le wifi, il se détecte même pas
- les lumières n’éclairent rien du tout. Quand on faisait à manger tard, on était obligé d’allumer le flash du téléphone.

Pour l’achat du déboucheur et des sacs poubelles, nous avons fait une demande de remboursement auprès de la propriétaire mais elle ne répond pas, malgré avoir vu nos messages.
De même lorsque nous lui avons dit que les canalisations de la douche étaient bouchées. Depuis, aucune nouvelle de sa part malgré de nombreux messages.

Nous sommes déçus de notre séjour.

We were woken up several times because the dogs were barking nonstop.

Nous nous sommes fait réveillés à plusieurs reprises car des chiens aboyaient sans cesse.

What a wonderful place Isa and Frank have created. You immediately come to rest! The cottage is fully equipped, comfortable and has plenty of nice sitting areas to enjoy the silence and nature. The guitar completed it for us. Location is perfect; a few minutes drive from the larger road (which incidentally does not bother you) and you are there. Many nice beaches nearby and close to Lagos. Contact with Isa and Frank was also top. They were easy to reach, we felt welcome and they live on top of the mountain just in case.

Wat een heerlijke plek hebben Isa en Frank gecreëerd. Je komt meteen tot rust! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, comfortabel en heeft genoeg fijne zitplekken om van de stilte en de natuur te genieten. De gitaar maakte het voor ons helemaal af. Locatie is perfect; paar min rijden van de grotere weg (waar je overigens geen last van hebt) en je bent er. Overal leuke strandjes in de buurt en dichtbij Lagos. Contact met Isa en Frank was ook top. Ze waren makkelijk bereikbaar, we voelden ons welkom en ze wonen boven op de berg voor het geval dat.
