Charming cottage with beautiful view, for peace, space and nature in the Creuse, Limousin.This house is very quiet and free with beautiful views in a garden of 1000 m². The garden offers both shade and sun to enjoy the outdoors. Near the garden is a fens with amphibians and moorhens. Deer, hares and pheasants can be seen in the immediate area. Also garden birds and Hoopoe, Oriole and Red-winged Warbler. It is located with no immediate neighbors in a small hamlet with a few more houses and barns at an altitude of 500 meters. On the border of the versatile departments of Puy de Dôme, Allier and the Creuse. The Creuse is one of the least populated and greenest departments of France. The house has on the ground floor a living room with pellet stove, Smart TV, internet FTTH WIFI up to 1 Gb/s. A spacious kitchen with all appliances, and a WC. Upstairs a spacious bedroom with large double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds. A bathroom with shower and second WC.
Nature and surroundings
There are hiking trails such as "l'Arbre du Loup" along a three hundred year old oak tree. And visit the natural park "Millevaches" and bird sanctuary "Etang des Landes". Twice a year, cranes migrate here for two weeks! Visit the volcanic area and climb the "Puy de Dôme" or visit theme park "Vulcania". Enjoy the rugged nature in the gorge of the Sioule River most with a (rented) canoe. Aubusson with its internationally renowned and modern "Musée de Tapisserie" is beautifully situated in the gorge of the river Creuse. The one-hour drive there takes you through beautiful countryside. Five minutes away is the town of Evaux-les-Bains, a spa town already known to the Romans. Here you will find bakeries, stores, restaurants and a supermarket and a charging point for the electric car. A little alternative restaurant with terrace can be found in Chambon-sur-Voueize, a little further away. Half an hour away Montluçon and a little further away Moulins and Vichy.
