Vacation home de Kei is located in the beautiful Achterhoek, near several nature reserves and just outside Lichtenvoorde. The house has a modern warm decor and a cozy atmosphere. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. You can also use the terrace overlooking the pond. Squirrels and beautiful birds regularly pass by. There are 2 rooms with double beds and 1 room (separated by a curtain) with two single beds. This house is fully equipped for 6 persons but just as cozy for 2 persons. You have a large TV with Netflix account. The house is located at a nice mini camping 1 km away from the bustling market square of Lichtenvoorde. Downstairs is a toilet and the shower is upstairs. The staircase to the upper floor has an open balustrade and is therefore not suitable for small children. There is bike rental (electric) available to discover the beautiful Achterhoek!
Nature and surroundings
Lichtenvoorde is a nice village with nice stores and all imaginable supermarkets. It also offers all kinds of possibilities for going out. The area lends itself very well to wonderful cycling on country roads, shortcuts and so-called church paths. The rolling fields along meandering streams and wooded banks form the beautiful backdrop for these cycling tours. You are guaranteed to enjoy the lovingly situated farmhouses with their beautiful white wind-breaks and colorful facades. Small villages and towns are interspersed with larger places like Winterswijk, Zutphen and Doetinchem. But a trip to Germany also has its own atmosphere. Think of a town like Bocholt 14 km away. Or a beautiful subtropical swimming paradise 9 km away.
