Welcome to my unique place just outside the center of Middelburg. Here you will find peace, space, nature and beautiful views. Surrounded by farmlands and with a panoramic view that reaches to the masts of the boats sailing in the canal through Walcheren, here you will experience Zeeland at its best. While the liveliness of the center of Middelburg is just an 8-minute bike ride away. There you can enjoy historic streets, nice stores, cozy terraces and restaurants - Bright living room with large sliding doors and phenomenal views over the countryside - From the living room you step through the sliding doors onto the terrace and garden with seating - Sleep wonderfully in the double box spring (160x200cm) - Spacious closet with plenty of hangers - Fully equipped kitchen including oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, kettle, - Coffee: percolator or use the Nespresso machine. Milk frother available - Regular visits from hares and pheasants in the garden.
Nature and surroundings
The peace and space is sometimes delightfully disturbed by the swarms of geese, gulls and other meadow birds that like to stay in the fields and the nearby Oude Veerseweg nature reserve. Walk along "the towpath," from Middelburg to Veere: an unpaved path along the canal through Walcheren and past the Oude Veerseweg meadow bird area. Or bike along the Platte van Walcheren. Visit nature reserve Oranjezon and walk through sheltered dune valleys, forest, dune scrub, shifting sands and dune grassland or go a little further and discover Boswachterij Westerschouwen. And of course, Zeeland's many beaches are just around the corner.
