Nature house in Solms

Detached cottage with large natural garden and large covered terrace. Two bedrooms, one with a door, the other is open plan but not a walk-through room (please refer to the floor plans). One bed is 160 cm wide, the other is 180 cm wide, but has two 90 cm mattresses. Comforters and pillows are provided, bed linen can be booked on request for 10 EUR per person. Please remember to bring your own towels. Not barrier-free - access to the bedrooms only via steep stairs. The cottage is heated exclusively by the two fireplaces, normally it is sufficient to light the fireplace on the first floor. Firewood is of course provided in sufficient quantity. There is a towel warmer in the bathroom for basic warmth. Nevertheless, please take cozy, warm clothes with you in the cold season, because it is an old house.

Dogs are allowed: We love whole families. However, your four-legged friends are not allowed in the swimming pond. As dogs make a bit more mess, we charge 5 euros per day per dog, even for visiting dogs. A construction trailer by the pond houses the *discovery station* with a magnifying glass and microscope. Here you can explore and identify. There is a lot to discover here and in the garden. These are all gifts from my bonus father, who is a biologist and loves research - or from other people who are close to my heart. Our extensive natural garden is tended regularly and with lots of love. As our gardener works according to natural conditions such as weather or plant requirements, he may also be working on the property during your stay. Although we try to avoid this and respect your privacy, we will be happy to inform you in advance of his visit if you wish, just leave us your telephone number.
