The nature house is located on a private estate with 5 hectares of gardens and woods—you’re completely surrounded by nature! It features a large double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), a fully equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed, and a toilet. The warm rain shower is located outside under the trees. Upon request and free of charge, the new wood-fired sauna will be heated for you. Feel free to heat up the sauna yourself and/or take a dip in the pool. The sauna and pool are shared with the owners and another nature house in our forest. Each guest has their own accommodation, kitchen, bathroom, garden, and campfire area. The forest cabin sleeps 2 people; upon request, a third person can be accommodated, and the sofa bed will be made up. Smoking is, of course, not permitted INSIDE the cabin. Dogs are also very welcome. The forest is mostly fenced in, but dogs might find a way out if they’re really eager to go on a bigger adventure :) See you soon!
Nature and surroundings
The private forest is located in a quiet, wooded area with no nearby neighbors. Antwerp is about a 30-minute drive away. The area is very popular with hikers and cyclists. Grobbendonk is therefore an excellent base for an active, short vacation. Its central location, vast forests and tree-lined paths, sand dunes, chapels, historic farmhouses, the ruin of the former priory of Our Lady Enthroned, the windmill and watermill, and much more, make a stay here well worth it.

Warm and cosy
Our stay was simply perfect. The tiny house is in a wonderfully peaceful and secluded spot – just the right place to escape the daily grind and enjoy some time together. It’s equipped with everything you need, and the barrel sauna and the pool made the experience even more special. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and warm, whilst also being very respectful of our privacy. A truly special place that we’d love to return to at any time! Thank you!

A very nice cottage with very friendly hosts. The cottage itself is cozy and feels like camping—but better. You can build a campfire and have a barbecue (Weber). It’s absolutely fantastic when the weather is nice. However, this cottage is a bit small in bad weather—in that case, the other cottage on the property is better (since it has a covered area). Showering outside isn’t a big deal and is fantastic when the sun is out, though I imagine it could be a bit of a challenge in the fall or winter. The sauna is really beautiful and relaxing, and we were also able to use the pool, which was absolutely great. As a surprise, they’d also gotten the tennis court (on the property) into playable condition, so we were even able to play tennis! I understand they’re going to build a canopy for this cottage, so it’ll be even better. Overall, definitely highly recommended!
Zeer fijn huisje met hele aardige hosts. Het huisje zelf is knus en voelt aan als kamperen +. Je kunt een kampvuurtje maken en bbq-en (weber). Als het lekker weer is dan super top. Dit huisje is met slecht weer wel wat klein, dan is het andere huisje op het terrein beter (welke een overkapping heeft). Buiten douchen is niet erg en als de zon schijnt fantastisch, in de herfst/winter wel een uitdaging denk ik. De sauna is echt supermooi en fijn, ook konden we gebruik maken van het zwembad wat helemaal top was. Als verrassing hadden ze de tennisbaan (op het terrein) ook nog in speelbare staat gebracht dus hebben ook nog kunnen tennissen! Ik begreep dat ze een overkapping gaan maken voor dit huisje dus dan wordt het nog beter. Overall zeker een aanrader!
