Welcome to the "ausspanne" in the Harz Mountains! We have built two natural log cabins with carport and outbuilding on a spacious, naturally landscaped plot. The living space is 50 square meters each and extends over two floors. The front house offers plenty of space and comfort for two people. On the first floor is the open kitchen with dining area and the bathroom. The wood pellet stove with seating area provides pleasant warmth throughout the house. The first floor is also equipped with underfloor heating. Upstairs you will find the spacious sleeping and living area with sweeping views over the mountain meadows. The open roof truss and the large gable windows create a special feeling of space. The log cabin is furnished with great attention to detail. The solid wooden walls give the house a warm and homely atmosphere. The large windows allow plenty of light into the house and offer a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
Nature and surroundings
Buntenbock is a district of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and is located on a plateau in the Upper Harz Mountains. The tranquil village is surrounded by mountain meadows and numerous ponds, which are part of the Upper Harz Water Regal. Our log cabins are located at the entrance to the village, directly adjacent to the Buntenbock mountain meadows. The Hasenbach pond invites you to take a refreshing dip in summer. It can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. In winter, if there is enough snow, the cross-country ski trail leads directly behind our property. Buntenbock in the Harz Mountains lies at an altitude of around 550 m above sea level on a plateau with many lakes and meadows. In the surrounding area there are many possibilities for hiking and cycling tours of varying length and difficulty. In Buntenbock there is a nice café and a small restaurant. The mountain town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld is 3 km away. There are numerous shopping possibilities and a good gastronomic offer.
