We love to welcome people and help them enjoy the peace, inspiration and relaxation that our environment and comfortable, country chic rooms give you. This is the ideal location to go "back to the roots" in nature with a wide range of hiking opportunities, swimming in rivers and the Portuguese countryside. The new rooms are furnished with each having a spacious bathroom and a private terrace. There is private parking, swimming pool, vineyard, large garden at guests' disposal. From October to June you can enjoy the babbling water of our own little river.Rooms are all on ground floor and accessible to guests with disabilities.Wifi available.There is also a shared kitchen available for use by guests.
Nature and surroundings
Alegria Rustica is located in the small village of Vilar da Lapa, in a valley where you can fully immerse yourself in peace, nature, water from the pool or rivers. It is the ideal base for walks, but also cultural excursions to Tomar, castles (Belver, Abrantes, Castelo Branco,...), museums, rock paintings, 'chist'village,... There are very beautiful hiking trails in the area. There is a train connection to Lisbon, Porto, Castelo Branco. Train stop is Envendos. Pick-up service from station is available.
